Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan has released the solo single "I Saw God On 10th Street." The song will be part of Lighthouse , the artist's third solo album, which will be released on October 20th.
Speaking about the song, Duff commented: “I picture him as an old man with a white beard and hair, leaning against a wall on a city street,” he says. “The supreme jurist of us all. Irritated, squinting to push away what he sees, frequently spitting without caring who might be nearby. The creator. God. Allah, Shiva… or whoever. I think I sometimes see him on 10th Street, with his fists clenched and his toes curled and tense.”
Lighthouse will feature special appearances by his bandmate Slash , as well as punk legend Iggy Pop and Jerry Cantrell , guitarist for Alice In Chains .
