The tracklist for the new album has already been released

Scott Travis, drummer for Judas Priest, spoke on the Talking Metal podcast about the band's new album, Firepower .

According to the musician, the choice to have two producers, Andy Sneap and Tom Allom, which the band didn't have on Redeemer Of Souls in 2014, transformed the album into something they hadn't imagined, as they were now able to experiment with different sounds on the same record.

“If you have new producers, you have a new sound ,” he says, “Andy is a guitarist too, so I think that’s why the guitars are sounding louder on this album [laughs].”

Firepower will be released on March 9th by Epic. Check out the new clip for “Lightning Strike” here.
