Drowning Pool 's South American tour , which was scheduled to take place between May 20th and 31st, has been cancelled due to low ticket sales.
In Brazil, the nu metal band had three dates scheduled. The shows were to take place in Belo Horizonte, São Paulo, and Curitiba. The show would be part of the promotion of the group's recent projects and would mark Drowning Pool's return to South America after a period without performances on the continent.
The production had already started selling tickets, but demand fell short of expectations. Therefore, the organizers decided to cancel the tour. Check out the statement:
"We regret to inform you that the Drowning Pool tour in South America has been officially cancelled. The decision was made jointly by all the local producers involved, due to the low sales recorded in all the cities on the tour."
“Customers who have already purchased tickets should request a refund directly from the company responsible for ticket sales in their respective city. For more information and specific guidance on the refund process, please contact the local production company.”
