Dropkick Murphys have released the single “Who'll Stand With Us?” . The track is part of their new album For The People , which will be released on July 4th by the band's label Dummy Luck Music / Play It Again Sam .

“Who’ll Stand With Us?” is a call for unity, an appeal for a return to sanity, and a direct look at what – and who – is truly dividing us. The song gets straight to the point: when the billionaires and “broligarchs” finish neutralizing society, what will be left for the rest of us? The track seeks to frame class warfare for what it truly is. And, like all Dropkick Murphys songs, it empowers listeners to take action.

The powerful music video for “Who'll Stand With Us?” was directed by Jon Vulpine and portrays the disturbing reality of people disappearing in the United States. The MeidasTouch Network , a pro-democracy American podcast (and the number 1 podcast in the US and Canada), took note and will be sharing the video, demonstrating continued support for the band's efforts to combat injustice.

In keeping with the album's theme and the band's philosophy, vocalist Ken Casey recently participated in a humanitarian aid caravan in Ukraine, highlighting Dropkick Murphys' commitment to supporting the war-torn country. In recent years, the band has raised funds for initiatives supporting Ukraine through the sale of limited-edition t-shirts. Casey felt it was important to see the situation firsthand and demonstrate moral support for the Ukrainian people.

New album from Dropkick Murphys

Dropkick Murphys' upcoming album, For The People , demonstrates courage and confidence in taking a stand against injustices happening in the United States, doing so with the strength and intensity that hark back to the band's punk rock roots. For The People is more than just a title. It's a sincere stance, a declaration of who this band is – and always has been.

The LP and CD versions, which include five bonus tracks, will be released on October 10th. The striking album cover was created by the renowned design studio Studio Number One, by political/social artist Shepard Fairey. Production and mixing were handled by Ted Hutt, a longtime collaborator of the band.

For The People stands at its peak: an expression of humanity in times of constant dehumanization. A promise of hope in an age fueled by fear. A declaration of solidarity in an age of disunity. A defiant response to the charlatans and demagogues who seek to divide us for power and profit.

“Our message has always been the same, and we’ve never been afraid to speak about what’s important to us. But for me now, I’m thinking about the future of my children, the next generation,” says Casey. “That could be anything – from denouncing injustices to simply making sure you tell the people close to you how important they are to you.”
