This Wednesday, the 31st, Dropkick Murphys released their new single, the upbeat and humorous "Queen Of Suffolk County," telling the story of a woman who had all the men at her feet and walked around armed with a knife.

The new song follows a similar sonic path to "Middle Finger," released in February. Both are part of the tracklist for Dropkick Murphys' 10th studio album, Turn Up That Dial , which will be released on April 30th.

According to Loudwire , founder, bassist, and co-vocalist Ken Casey said that the recurring theme of the new album is "the importance of music and the bands that made us who we are."

“We hope [the album] helps people forget their problems. We are very grateful and lucky to be in a position to share a little happiness in our own way. Our levels of gratitude are through the roof,” the artist continued.

Casey also added a touch of emotion to his speech, revisiting the early days of Dropkick Murphys. “25 years ago, someone bet $30 that I couldn’t form a band within three weeks to open for his band. When we were young, we had never left New England, and here we are today – we’ve made ten albums and played all over the world. If there’s any message on this album, it’s ‘put your fist up and listen really loud.’”
