The Swiss band Dreamshade released the music video for “Safe Harbour” this Monday, the 29th. The track is a love letter to the power of music as a safe place to encourage fans, a theme explored subjectively in the video.
The song opens the tracklist of A Pale Blue Dot , the band's fourth album, which was released to fans in early March . "The lyrics are inspired by our fans and all the people who are truly energized by music and experience it as a personal and profound experience," comments vocalist Kevin Cali. "We wanted listeners to understand that within this music, album, and band, they can always find the refuge they need, when they need it."
The name of Dreamshade's new album is a reference to Carl Sagan Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of Humanity's Future in Space , published in 1994.
