The band Dreamshade announced last Friday, the 27th, that they will release a new album in 2021. To celebrate the news, the group released the first single from the project.
“Lightbringers” is the first single from the album A Pale Blue Dot, which will be released on March 5th – check out the cover below – and is one of the band's most personal tracks. According to vocalist Kevin Cali , the song was inspired by the difficulties we are all facing in 2020. “Everyone is feeling the need to return to the light and get out of this moment that is holding us back,” he said.
According to the vocalist, "Lightbringers" is a kind of emotional charge to restore the fan's hope and strength. "The result is something positive, profound, and energetic," he added. Listen to the track below.
Besides Kevin, Dreamshade consists of Fernando “Fella” Di Cicco (guitar and vocals), Gian-Andrea Costa (bass), Luca Magri (guitar) and Francesco “Fry” Ferrini (drums).
