Jordan Rudess, keyboardist for Dream Theater, will release an album featuring a 33-minute song in April 2019

Jordan Rudess , known for being the keyboardist for the progressive metal band Dream Theater , will release his solo album in April. He revealed that the album is affiliated with progressive rock and features a 33-minute song.

In an interview with 8dio , he spoke about the album: “It’s in a progressive rock vibe and I’m very excited about it. It has all kinds of guests playing on it. I haven’t done something like this in a while. In fact, there’s a 33-minute song on it, so it’s really ‘proggy’. I sang on the album too. And there’s a kind of progressive blues track with a special guest who will be announced soon.”

Rudess' career began at the age of nine, when he took piano lessons. As a teenager, he turned to synthesizers and progressive rock. In January 1999, he joined Dream Theater. The keyboardist spoke with Wikimetal recently before performing in São Paulo. Read it here .
