Petrucci announces recording on Instagram
Dream Theater has entered the studio to work on a new album. The news came via John Petrucci's Instagram, where he posted photos from the studio with the caption "Let the fun begin" on the 4th.
In an interview with Metal Insider last month, Petrucci had announced that the band would enter the studio in January. In December, the guitarist said that the band had many ideas for the new album, but nothing concrete.
The guitarist also said that Mike Mangini will be involved in the creative process. Petrucci said that Mangini will be present from day one. On the band's last album, "A Dramatic Turn Of Events," Mangini only recorded the drums.
