Dream Theater recently announced a tour in Brazil to celebrate their 40-year career. Now with Mike Portnoy back, the group will perform in Rio de Janeiro (Viva Rio, December 13th), São Paulo (Vibra, December 15th), and Curitiba (Live Curitiba, December 16th). The event is produced by Liberation Music Company.

An Evening With Dream Theater tour which begins in the second half of this year, in addition to dates in 2025, will be the first since the return of drummer Mike Portnoy to the band, joining vocalist James LaBrie , bassist John Myung , guitarist John Petrucci and keyboardist Jordan Rudess.
The performances will last approximately three hours and will feature a repertoire including classics and fan favorites. Currently, Dream Theater is working at their studio, DTHQ, on their 16th album, the first with Portnoy back in the lineup since Black Clouds & Silver Linings (2009).
