The band will tour five Brazilian cities

Dream Theater has announced that they will be bringing The Distance Over Time Tour – Celebrating 20 Years of Scenes From A Memory to Brazil. The band will be performing in Brasília, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Curitiba, and Porto Alegre.

The setlist, lasting almost three hours, includes songs from the album Scenes From A Memory (1999) in their entirety, singles from The Distance Over Time, and other career classics. Tickets go on sale at 12 pm on July 29th.

“This experience has been a lot of fun because this album was really important for us, storytelling-wise, because it was our first concept album, it marks Jordan Rudess' debut with us, and it's the first album where we didn't use an outside producer. It was like we were making our own 'Operation: Mindcrime', our own 'Tommy', our own 'The Wall'. It was definitely a conscious decision to do something bold, new and different,” declared John Petrucci .
