Dream Theater has released information about their new album, recorded in New York. The CD, scheduled for release on September 24th, is self-titled.
“Dream Theater” was produced by the band's guitarist, John Petrucci, and featured Richard Chycki (Aerosmith, Rush) on sound engineering and mixing. The CD is the first to have Mike Mangini fully integrated into the songwriting process.

“We are incredibly excited about “Dream Theater” and can’t wait for everyone to hear it,” says Petrucci. The band also stated that a world tour to promote the album will be announced soon.
