The Swedish doom and gothic metal band Draconian will come to Brazil for the first time in 2023. The show will take place on August 26th at Fabrique Club in São Paulo, and tickets are already on sale at the Pixel Ticket website.
Active since 1990, the group comes to the country at a special time due to the return of original vocalist Lisa Johansson , who participated in the band's first five albums and is once again sharing vocals with Anders Jacobson (responsible for the guttural vocals).
The show, which will feature songs from throughout the band's career, will have Lisa singing tracks from their most recent album, Under A Godless Veil , released in 2020. The album featured vocals by the now-former vocalist Heike Langhans in the studio.
In addition to Lisa's return, Draconian has a new guitarist, Niklas Nord . Rounding out the lineup are guitarist, main songwriter and founding member Johan Ericson , along with longtime bassist Daniel Arvidsson and drummer Jerry Tortensson.
The one-off show in São Paulo is being produced by Powerline Music & Books and Mirror/AM.
