Dr. Sin announces a pause in activities.

Before their hiatus, the trio will release new material and perform their final show

Through a statement released on their Instagram profile , Dr. Sin announced that they will be taking a break from band activities. The trio currently consists of Andria Busic (vocals and bass), Thiago Melo (guitar), and Ivan Busic (drums).

According to the statement, the group is "in a moment of opening ourselves to new paths and projects." It was also said that Andria will return to Ultraje ao Rigor .

Before their hiatus, the trio will release a single and a music video. The band's final performance will be on February 15, 2025, in Feira de Santana, Bahia.

“We want to announce that Dr. Sin will be taking a break from activities. This is the time for us to open ourselves up to new paths and projects. We are certain that we have given 100% of our energy and love to this honorable legacy over these thirty years, but sometimes the wisest thing to do is to put the ball on the ground.”

"Some exciting news: Andria Busic is back with the band Ultraje a Rigor and in full swing. We have material ready from Dr. Sin that will be released independently of this hiatus. We're giving fans a gift: an unreleased single/music video, and we'll also remind everyone that Dr. Sin will be playing their last show on February 15th, 2025 in Feira de Santana, Bahia. We hope to see you all there! Respect and gratitude to the fans and the Dr. Sin family."
