Dr. Sin's debut album turns 30 and gets a CD re-release.

'Dr. Sin' will be available on CD in major stores and can already be pre-ordered online via Wikimetal Store.

Dr. Sin 's debut album introduced the world to the band's distinctive and energetic sound. Now, the self-titled album is celebrating its 30th anniversary and is being re-released on CD, with an edition that includes a special slipcase.

The release is part of Wikimetal with OPorto da Música , which is promoting the re-release of several classic rock and metal albums that were not previously available in the country.

Recorded at the famous Carriage House studio in Stamford, Connecticut, the album was produced by Stephan Galfas. Released by Warner Music, the album earned the band notable achievements, such as participation in the “Hollywood Rock” festival, the “M2000 Summer Concerts” and the “Monsters Of Rock”.

Hits like “Emotional Catastrophe,” the theme song for the TV series Confissões de Adolescente (Teenage Confessions ), solidified Dr. Sin as one of the world's leading hard rock bands. Their compositions include hits such as “Stone Cold Dead,” “The Fire Burns Cold,” “Lonely World,” “Scream And Shout,” and “You Are My Love.” The album also features a memorable cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival's “Have You Ever Seen The Rain.

The band will also be performing a special show to celebrate the anniversary: ​​for the first time ever, the album will be played in its entirety, with a special guest appearance by original guitarist Edu Ardanuy . The performance will take place on Friday, October 6th, at Manifesto Bar in São Paulo.
