The event will take place in June 2019 in England.

One of the UK's biggest rock and heavy metal festivals has just announced the first acts for its 2019 edition. Def Leppard, Tool , and Slipknot are among the names rumored to be performing at the event.

The festival takes place at Donington Park, Leicestershire, England between June 14th and 16th and will also feature Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, Trivium, Whitesnake, Rob Zombie, Underoath and more.

This edition will mark Tool's first appearance at the Download Festival since 2006, when they headlined the event. For Slipknot, this will be the fifth time the group, led by Corey Taylor, has taken to the English stage.
