As everyone knows, we can't wait to go to a festival anymore. At least, from the 12th to Sunday the 14th, the Download Festival will warm the hearts of any headbanger with the lineup of this year's virtual edition.
Pay attention, because the festival performances will not be replayed! Check out everything that's going to happen below!
June 12th (Friday): The festival here kicks off with a series of activities, including Doom Yoga, a cooking demonstration with vegan stars BOSH, a pub quiz, and a KISS by Gemma Stafford! With bands involved in the lineup such as Theory , Of Mice & Men Chester Bennington 's former band , Gray Daze !
Starting at 3 PM, things get really serious: check out the stream below for the day's shows. There will be over four and a half hours of content, including exclusive interviews and broadcasts of great shows from names like Deftones, Biffy Clyro, Frank Carter , and many more. And of course, the big headliner of the day will be none other than KISS.
June 13th (Saturday) : The day starts at 8 AM on the DownloadTV website, with Rockfit workouts, cooking shows with Nat's What I Reckon , and even learning how to mix cocktails with Simon Wood from MasterChef! There will also be performances by artists like Amaranthe and Employed To Serve , and extra special content such as an exclusive quarantine diary from Killswitch Engage !
Starting at 3 PM, the day's show will be headlined by none other than Iron Maiden , followed by performances from Alter Bridge, Gojira, Killswitch Engage, and The Pretty Reckless .
June 14th (Sunday): Waking up late on the last day of the festival is for the weak, according to Download. Therefore, the program starts at 7:30 AM with a meditation session by Mind The Dog , get energized by the great little Nandi Bushell , and check out a gallery of images from Download festivals around the world. The program will also feature exclusive performances by Wage War, Milk Teeth , and Twin Temple .
The festival concludes on YouTube with a grand finale starting at 12:25 PM, where System Of A Down will close the event, followed by incredible performances from Babymetal , Disturbed, Bowling For Soup, and Volbeat .
