Ultimatum was released in 1985.

Ultimatum , released in 1985, is a joint album between the bands Metalmorphose and Dorsal Atlântica, and it was removed from digital platforms at the request of Dorsal Atlântica, who want the material to be distributed with the bands separately.

"Mr. Carlos Lopes (Dorsal Atlântica) contacted us demanding that we remove Ultimatum from digital platforms. His determination is to definitively eliminate its original format with the two bands."

Metalmorphose regrets this unilateral decision, with which it disagrees and which disregards the historical value of the work, ignoring the importance of what was one of the first Heavy Metal albums in Brazil.

When asked if royalties were being paid to Dorsal Atlântica, Metalmorphose stated:

“He ALWAYS received [the royalties]. I paid him an upfront and FULL amount that he himself set regarding the royalties for the Ultimatum CD even before selling a single CD. In fact, I even paid him to do the graphic design for the Ultimatum CD, meaning he was paid to do the cover of HIS album! Regarding the online material, Carlos just received the payment. Now… I won't go into details, but just so you can 'empty' this talk about money, we're talking about a pittance… about 80 reais… PER YEAR. R$ 6.66 per MONTH, OK? (hehehe) Therefore, the reason for all this isn't money. He simply wants to disassociate himself from Metalmorphose. And that's fine by us. It's sad, however, to want to erase history, to disassociate himself from the 15-17 year olds who came together when he needed them, providing rehearsal space, and even the bass used in the Dorsal recording was my Fender… But Carlos always…” He was known for 'biting the hand that feeds him,' and that has a name. That name is ingratitude.”
