Doro Pesch plans to release a new album in 2023! This will be the queen of metal's first album in five years, the successor to Forever Warriors, Forever United (2018).

In 2020, the singer had already updated the public on the progress of the new album, which had six songs completed that year . In a recent interview (via Ultimate Guitar ), Doro spoke about her upcoming career projects: "Festivals and a new album next year."

The new album continues Doro's long-standing partnership with Andreas Bruhn , former guitarist of Sisters of Mercy. “I met him, I think, in 1986. We’ve always worked well together. In fact, we wrote a killer new song with the new bassist we have in Europe, so this is a new friendship. It’s an anthem,” she said. “And I wrote a song with my first producer from the Hellbound . We met again and wrote a cool song together. It’s a song about why I love animals. It’s called ‘Heavenly Creatures.’ That will definitely be on the new album I’m planning to release next year. Next year is my 40th anniversary [in the music industry], so we want to celebrate big.”
