Metal Queen Doro Pesch has released a cover of the classic "Living After Midnight" by Judas Priest . The track, a duet with vocalist Rob Halford , is part of the album Conqueress – Forever Strong and Proud , scheduled for release on October 27th by Nuclear Blast.
The album will feature 19 songs which, as described in a press release, is “the result of intense hard work that took the incomparable singer-songwriter back to studios in Miami, New York and Hamburg.”
Speaking about the song choice and the collaboration, DORO commented: “Judas Priest and Rob Halford have always been one of my biggest inspirations and continue to be my heroes. It was great working with Rob. 'Living After Midnight' has always been one of my favorite songs and I'm so proud of our duet!”
Before coming to Brazil to perform at Monsters of Rock, Doro spoke with Wikimetal and commented on the news, as well as her participation in the festival and more.
