Former Sex Pistol Johnny Rotten has once again weighed in on the current US President and candidate for re-election, Donald Trump . As the elections approached, the artist was spotted wearing a t-shirt supporting the Republican politician , and soon after confirmed his position .
Now, on the morning show Good Morning Britain , broadcast yesterday, the 4th, the artist became agitated while talking about his candidate, not even letting the presenter Susanna Reid comment on his remarks. “I’m from the English working class, it makes perfect sense to me to vote for someone who really speaks to my kind of people. Trump isn’t a politician. He never said he was. How strange, and exceptionally wonderful is that for people like me?” he questioned.
“We’re bored of your progressive intellectual ideas. We can’t stand you anymore. You just talk nonsense. Everything you do, you miss the point of who the majority of the population is,” Johnny continues, and at that moment, he doesn’t let Reid speak. “It does NOTHING for these people. NOTHING. And that’s why they support him so faithfully now because he’s the only hope. You can call him a narcissist, you can call him low, he can be many things, this guy. But he’s the only hope, because the system, as always, is a shitty system.”
