Lilith , Lamia, and Rusalka , now known as Grace Jane , Amber Maldonado , and Patri Grief , have released a joint statement accusing the management of the band Dogma of turning the group into a "brand" and deceiving fans.
The band Dogma is facing a severe internal crisis. Three of its five members, previously known only by their pseudonyms, have announced their departures: Lilith (vocals), Lamia (guitar), and Rusalka (guitar). The news comes shortly after the sudden cancellation of shows scheduled for Los Angeles and Nevada, which the band had postponed without explanation.
In addition to confirming their split, the musicians publicly revealed their real identities. Grace Jane, Amber Maldonado, and Patri Grief respectively released a joint and forceful statement on social media.
The accusations against the administration
In the text, the artists directly accuse the band's manager of "manipulation, mistreatment, and lies." They claim that the person who now controls the project has turned the band into a "brand," treating the artists as "disposable pieces.".
They explain that, during the tours, they witnessed unilateral decisions and broken promises. Consequently, the former members declare that "what is being sold today is not Dogma.".
The manifesto asks fans to “not support a lie” and “demand transparency.” Under the slogan “no more masks,” the musicians argue that the props should protect identities, not facilitate the replacement of people. They also affirm that the “true Dogma” resides with them, that they created the genuine connection with the audience, and that they intend to continue playing together.
The Future of the Band
With the departure of the trio, only bassist Nixe and drummer Abrahel officially remain in the Dogma lineup. The group's immediate future is uncertain, although a show in the United States is still scheduled. To date, Dogma's management has not formally announced the new members who will replace Lilith, Lamia, and Rusalka.
Dogma has gained notoriety rapidly since its founding in 2023. The hard-gothic group has attracted attention for its visual aesthetic, combining costumes inspired by nun habits with corpse paint . Recently, the band has undertaken important tours, including a stop in Brazil at the Bangers Open Air festival and major European events such as Wacken and Bloodstock.
