The documentary about Ozzy Osbourne , which was pulled from the BBC last month just hours before its premiere , will finally air. Titled Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home , it premieres this Thursday, October 2nd on BBC One BBC iPlayer streaming service . The trailer can be seen below.

The documentary is a “moving and inspiring account of the final chapter of Ozzy’s life, told through unique and intimate access to the entire Osbourne family, including Sharon , Jack and Kelly ,” as described [via Blabbermouth ].

Narrated through deep personal contact with Sharon, Jack, and Kelly Osbourne over three years, Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home captures the extraordinary rollercoaster of their lives as Sharon and Ozzy attempt to fulfill their long-held dream of returning to the UK. Ozzy battles heroically to get fit enough to perform, and the family grapples with the dramatic consequences of his failing health.

The final farewell to Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy Osbourne was buried in a private funeral on July 31st. The heavy metal icon and Black Sabbath died on July 22nd at the age of 76. Thousands of fans gathered in the streets of Birmingham, England, to bid a final farewell to the artist in a funeral procession through his hometown on July 30th.

According to E! News , the death certificate signed by Ozzy's daughter, Aimee Osbourne , stated that the cause of death was a heart attack and acute myocardial infarction. The report also listed concurrent causes as coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with atomic dysfunction.

The private funeral took place in a church in Gerrards Cross. Afterwards, Ozzy's body was buried beside the lake at his own mansion in Buckinghamshire. Definitely as he had said he wished.
