Ashba will focus on Sixx: AM
Guns N' Roses guitarist DJ Ashba posted a statement today on his official Facebook page announcing his departure from Axl Rose's band. Here's an excerpt:
"It is with a heavy heart, but with great pride, that I announce to you that I have decided to close this chapter of my life and encapsulate the great moments I have experienced in my memories. I feel that I have reached a point in my life where I need to dedicate myself to my band, Sixx: AM, my wife and my family, and to the next adventures that the future will bring me."
Ashba played in Guns N' Roses for the last six years, after replacing guitarist Robin Finck in 2009.
