DJ Ashba , guitarist for Sixx:AM and former Guns N' Roses member, released a cover of the Italian classic "Bella Ciao" this Friday, the 29th, mixing EDM and rock n' roll.
The song has become world-famous in recent years thanks to the success of the Netflix La Casa de Papel , and Ashba made sure to pay homage to the show on the single's cover, using an illustration of a person dressed as the characters, signed by Craig Fraser , a Disney artist.
“After becoming completely obsessed with the series, 'Bella Ciao' and the story behind the song inspired me,” he commented to Blabbermouth . “I wanted this version to be epic and dramatic, with lots of bass, heavy guitar, and a catchy beat that I know will drive fans crazy.”
