Dan Donegan (guitarist) and Mike Wengreen (drummer) of Disturbed were on the American podcast The Mistress Carrie Podcast and commented that the band has "a lot of things recorded" for their next album, although there is no prediction about a possible release date.
During the episode – which can be heard on YouTube – Dan Donegan commented: “We really don’t know. Ten minutes before you came into the room, we were talking to our manager as well. Our main focus has been this 25th anniversary tour for DISTURBED’s debut album, The Sickness . We have a lot of things recorded, obviously, with the first single released. There hasn’t been much talk about the release yet, just because we’re very focused on these tours.”
The most recent album , Divisive , was released in 2022 .

The two also gave statements about the single "I Will Not Break," released in February by the band's own label, Mother Culture Records .
Dan commented on the track released in February: “We were in Los Angeles last fall and we started taking ideas off the paper. And we already had an album of material ready. And me, Mike, and Drew , our producer, were sitting in the room. And I like to keep going. When the ball starts rolling, I don’t like to give up—I don’t like to stop, because I always feel like the excitement is there. You have something new, so I keep writing. And David is trying to catch up, because he has to write all these lyrics for these songs. vault of things… So, I wanted to kind of get back to that mental space.”
