Disturbed breaks mainstream rock record with "A Reason To Fight"

This is the first time a band has had six consecutive songs at the top of the Mainstream Rock chart

According to Billboard , Disturbed has landed its sixth consecutive song at the top of the Mainstream Rock chart. The last single to reach that position was "A Reason To Fight".

This achievement marks the first time a band has had six consecutive songs on the chart. The previous record was held by Three Days Grace, with five, between 2012 and 2015.

All of Disturbed's singles since 2015's "The Vengeful One" have reached number one.

“A Reason To Fight” is part of the 2018 album Evolution . Vocalist David Draiman spoke about the song's personal message: “We’ve all seen people we care about fall into addiction.”

“I know people who struggle with addiction and I’ve seen their faces – the shame they feel,” said guitarist Dan Donegan. “We wanted to write a song that carried a message of hope.”
