Distort , the raw thrash metal band of Cristiano Fusco , former founding guitarist of Torture Squad , is back with the album New Terror Against Greed .
The album celebrates the tenth anniversary of the original version, titled Terror Against Greed , featuring new vocals, re-recorded strings, a heavier production, and completely new artwork.
The release is already available on streaming platforms and in Digipak CD format.
The physical copy can be purchased at stores in Galeria do Rock (São Paulo) such as Mutilation and Die Hard, or through the band's online store.
The album, produced by Daniel Souza ( Outlaw, The Black Spade ), had its vocals recorded at Studio3 in Osasco, Greater São Paulo, by Andre Ataíde ( Imminent Attack, Through The Skies, Infector Cell, Chaos Synopsis ).
Lead singer Heverton Souza commented on the result:
"It turned out to be a beautiful digipak, with artwork that gives the band a more serious image. The sound is incredibly heavy, without sounding trendy, and with vocals that vary well within each song. It's raw thrash, no frills, and packed with riffs and angry vocals."
