Discovery Publications recently released an almanac-style book about rock music in the 1970s. Entitled "Rock! 70s," the book tells the story of various bands and artists from that period.
The almanac focuses on the changes that Rock underwent at the time, going from a promising activity to becoming a multi-million dollar business – when album sales surpassed those of singles.
Featuring stories from David Bowie, Queen, Ramones, Pink Floyd, Sex Pistols, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Neil Young, New York Dolls, Alice Cooper and many others, “Rock! 70s” can be purchased on the Discovery Publications .
