Dirty Honey covers AC/DC's "Shoot to Thrill" in tribute to Angus Young

The band cites AC/DC as one of its biggest inspirations and decided to pay tribute to Angus Young's 67th birthday

Dirty Honey is currently on the road with Mammoth WVH on their Young Guns , playing shows in the United States. Last Thursday, the 31st, the group performed in Philadelphia and added a surprise to the setlist : a cover of AC/DC's "Shoot to Thrill".

The reinterpretation came in celebration of Angus Young , which took place on Thursday, as a sort of tribute. See the video of the performance below.

The group had previously played an AC/DC song, this time choosing "Girls Got Rhythm," from the Bon Scott , on the 1979 album Highway to Hell . AC/DC has been a major inspiration for the band, including vocalist Marc LaBelle , who has cited the group as one of the reasons he pursued a career in rock , alongside Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones , and Tom Petty.
