Interview with the CEO of Eyellusion
In an interview on the Talking Metal podcast, Jeff Pezzuti, the CEO of Eyellusion, the company responsible for creating the Ronnie James Dio hologram that appeared at the Wacken festival in August, spoke about future plans for the hologram.
According to Pezzuti, the Dio hologram will go on tour in 2017
"On tour he'll have different looks. At Wacken he was kind of in '88, in the Dream Evil era. For the next tour we're going to do something more recent and something older for certain songs.".
The tour will be something extravagant and devastating. We'll have two live vocalists, Ripper Owens and Oni Logan, as part of the show, and Ronnie appearing in some different parts, some duets. It's going to be incredible from the fans' perspective. We'll do some covers from the albums, and we'll bring some of Ronnie's own stuff to the stage.
Ronnie will be involved in 6 or 7 songs per night, which he will sing. Some that can already be expected are We Rock , Holy Diver and Rainbow in the Dark .
