The Alrosa Villa the music venue where guitarist Dimebag Darrell was fatally shot, would become a new residential area in Ohio. Now, the legislation has been approved and the area can officially become an affordable housing space.

Alrosa Villa was a music venue that hosted artists for over 45 years – including Slipknot , Korn , Quiet Riot , and Buckcherry . On December 8, 2004, a former Marine named Nathan Gale opened fire on Damageplan while the band was performing, fatally wounding Dimebag Darrell.

The approved legislative proposal aims to build approximately 100 apartments on the land previously occupied by the concert venue, divided among three four-story buildings, which will be sold at affordable prices.
