Recently, a comment by singer Pe Lu , former member of the pop-rock band Restart , caused a stir on the internet. In an interview on the podcast Falacadabra , the musician criticized the political stance of Digão and Rodolfo , both members of Raimundos , and stated that it is disappointing to see "reactionary rockers".

With all the commotion caused by the comment, Digão didn't want to let it go and used his Instagram to respond. Posting a screenshot of the headline, the guitarist and vocalist of Raimundos wrote: “Friend, you should be disappointed in yourself. My musical history is still playing everywhere today while you need to 'shut down' someone to remember your existence.”

The comments on the post caused quite a stir, and Pe Lu used his Twitter to defend himself, stating that after responding to his statement, Digão blocked him from commenting so that the singer couldn't reply. The former Restart member didn't let it go and published his response in text, stating that it was "a shame" that Digão's response was "shallow and incoherent, classic of Bolsonaro voters".

“To remain silent in the face of the atrocities we have been experiencing is indeed a political stance,” wrote Pe Lu. “It must be sad to have to respond to this by attacking my work, which, by the way, remains strong, as does my position. History will demand its due, Digão, and it will demand a heavy price.” Check out the full statement below.

In a subsequent tweet, Pe Lu also denounced that the comments on Digão's post are "filled with homophobia disguised as rejection" of his work in music.
