"The boys from Greta Van Fleet must be the grandsons of Led Zeppelin."
Fine Brothers Entertainment (FBE), the YouTube channel behind the Kids React and Elders React video series, has already shown us what seniors think about System Of a Down Rammstein , and now they've brought us a fascinating challenge involving the legendary Led Zeppelin and the newcomers Greta Van Fleet:
The idea was to see if people who have listened to Led Zeppelin their entire lives can differentiate the iconic band from the new generation represented by Greta Van Fleet.
The similarity between Robert Plant's and Josh Kiszka's vocals is one of the main reasons why it's difficult to tell them apart.
"I imagine they must be young, but then again, everyone is younger than me," said one of the elderly men.
Most listeners correctly identified the song "Flower Power" as being by Greta Van Fleet, but Sam Cooke's cover of "A Change is Gonna Come" ended up fooling most people.
The video shows extremely favorable reactions and comments regarding the type of music Greta Van Fleet has been making.
"My friend, if this is the new kid singing, I take my hat off to him."
"The Greta Van Fleet boys must be the grandsons of Led Zeppelin. My God, I'm so old!"
"It's so similar! It's terrifying!"
I think they're fantastic! I want to hear more!
"That's how we evolve. I think what they're doing is healthy and excellent!"
"The gift of this band is that they are following their talent and their star."
