Following their official studio debut, Die For a Reason continues to reap the rewards of their debut and is exploring their compositions to the fullest while preparing for their highly anticipated return to the stage.
While their first music video, "Until the End," focused primarily on showcasing the musicians' performance, their new video, "The Grave," features an even more elaborate audiovisual work, with a beautiful script created by the band's bassist, Paulo Victor Cortez. Check out the result below:
"The Grave" is the sixth track on A Reason To Die For and probably the heaviest song on the album, demonstrating a band with an artistic purpose far above the commercial one. The music video was produced by Daniel Mazza , scripted by Paulo Victor Cortez , and featured the performances of actor Zé Ricardo de Maceió and actress Geovana Ferreira.
Regarding the release, vocalist and guitarist Edu Sumiya commented: “This music video is amazing! Daniel is a monster in production and we couldn't be happier! It turned out excellent, I believe we managed to convey our message. Zé Ricardo surprised me a lot, he put his soul into the video, a great actor. Geovanna too, the chemistry between the two of them was really cool. We are happier every day with the reception of our first album, every day I see more people connecting with the band, even in times of pandemic. Seeing our sound spreading around the world is priceless!”
The band consists of Edu Sumiya on vocals and guitar, Paulo Cortez on bass, and Moises de Souza on drums.
