Diamond Head returned the favor, after more than 30 years, Metallica iconic cover of "Am I Evil?", with a reinterpretation of the track "No Remorse," from the band's first studio album, Kill 'Em All , from 1983.

The new release arrives first as a music video and single, and this Friday, the 27th, it will be included in the re-release of Lightning To The Nations , which turns 40 in 2020.

“I wanted to do a cover of a song from Metallica’s debut album, Kill 'Em All ,” said guitarist and band founder Brian Tatler in a press release, “Partly because Metallica covered songs from Diamond Head’s debut album, Lightning to the Nations , and it felt like things had to come full circle for me. None of the band members knew how to play any of the songs from Kill 'Em All and I finally decided we should all learn 'No Remorse'.”

“So when we went into the rehearsal room, we played 'No Remorse' and it immediately just sounded great; it was very Diamond Head and really suited us as a band,” he shares.
