Devil On Earth

Barra Bonita and Igaraçu do Tietê prove that Metal is everywhere in Brazil!!!

Daniel Dystyler: Starting another National Pride segment, and as I said, the recommendation comes from a fellow Wikibroder, Danilo Perasoli, who wrote to us a while ago, I think in April, recommending a band, a really cool band. The band is called "Devil on Earth," they originated in Barra Bonita and Igaraçu do Tietê in São Paulo, in the interior of São Paulo, more than ten years ago. They released a demo in 2003 called "Cold Reality," then they did some shows, took a break, changed the band's name, and so on, and then in 2007 they released an album called "Hunting, Shooting, Slashing and Thrashing"—for those who like thrash metal, it's a real treat, very cool. We'll be playing Devil on Earth here on National Pride, with the song "Metal Mass."

Nando Machado: That was the great Devil on Earth, a band from Barra Bonita, in the interior of São Paulo, once again showing that metal is in every corner of the universe.

DD: Yes, it was very fitting for this episode that we're bringing bands from Spain, Pakistan, and there are still some from other unusual countries coming up, like a band from Barra Bonita and Igaraçu do Tietê, which is really cool.
