Deven Davis , wife of Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis , has passed away at the age of 39. The news was confirmed by a statement from the band.
According to TMZ, the couple was going through a turbulent phase in their relationship, leading the frontman to file a restraining order against her, alleging that Deven was abusing drugs.
The marriage took place in 2004 and together they had two children, Pirate and Zeppelin. Jonathan had filed for divorce in 2016 after finding his wife passed out on the sofa with a drug dealer when he arrived with their children to visit her. He also revealed that he had previously found his wife passed out near the bathroom with drugs thrown into the toilet.
Deven had been in rehabilitation clinics six times in recent years. The cause of his death has not been revealed.
