Demon Hunter has released the official music video for the song “The Negative.” The track is part of the album War , which was released alongside the album Peace last March.
“The video was directed and edited by Oleg Masnyy ,” explained vocalist Ryan Clark . “Oleg and I recorded a variety of vignettes – including me singing the song – with a number of moving objects to create textures and diversity. We combined our recordings with archival footage, edited everything in a monochromatic style, using only black, white, and red. The goal was to create something that felt punk – like the song itself – influenced by 90s DIY. The images, scenes, and objects match the theme of the song. Simply put, it’s an awareness of humanity’s flaws.”
