Demi Lovato Holy Fuck this Friday, the 19th, showcasing the artist's new sound, now more focused on rock. The tour promoting the album debuts in Brazil next week, with shows in São Paulo and Rock In Rio, and will feature Nita Strauss as guitarist – and even Demi's old songs will be presented in a rock n' roll wrapper.

In an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon , Demi Lovato spoke about her passion for rock and heavy metal during her adolescence. Back then, when she was still a Disney star, she had to hide her musical taste by listening to bands like Cannibal Corpse and Dimmu Borgir , for example, but the new album represents "a return to her roots."

Regarding the tour, Demi Lovato explained how she will approach songs from her pop albums. “My music is more rock now. So even my older songs have a rock feel, they’re not pop anymore,” she said. “[I was influenced by rock] in my teens, I feel like I’m returning to my roots. My first and second albums were more rock-influenced… And here we are.”

After the interview, Demi Lovato took the stage with the band and Nita Strauss to perform the track “29”. Watch it below and listen to the album Holy Fuck here .
