April 2020 will be a big month, as the giants of death metal, Deicide , land in Latin America. Led by the legendary Glen Benton along with Steve Asheim, they come to sweep the continent from north to south.
In The Minds Of Evil tour, the American band Deicide returns to promote their latest studio album, Overtures Of Blasphemy .
After headlining major festivals such as Maryland Death Fest, Mexico Metal Fest, and HellFest in France, the tour arrives in Latin America, passing through Brazil and will travel through 8 countries with more than 20 shows.
In a quick chat with drummer and blast beat king Steve Asheim, we asked about his expectations for the upcoming tour in April. Steve stated: “Latin America is the best place to play shows. Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, and all the other countries are our second home. The fans' passion is so intense that we can feel it just by looking at them. Deicide is at its best right now, the band is in its best lineup, and we're playing better than ever. These shows will be intense and longer; we're ready to do another great tour on this continent that means so much to us.”
Making the shows even more special, this will be guitarist and newest band member Chris Cannella's first visit to Latin America.
