Two major representatives of American death metal performed in São Paulo last Sunday, the 14th. On Mother's Day, headbangers gathered at Fabrique Club to watch the bands Deicide and Kataklysm .

Produced by Powerline, the joint show was the second and final one of the Decimate Latin America Tour 2023 in Brazil. The day before, the bands performed in Limeira, and now they continue the tour in neighboring countries , also passing through Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and more.

To open the night, the Brazilian band Vulture, formed in 1995 in the city of Itapetininga, São Paulo, was recruited.

Currently, Deicide's lineup consists of bassist and vocalist Glen Benton, a founding member of the band, drummer Steve Asheim, and guitarists Kevin Quirion and Taylor Nordberg.

In Kataklysm, the current lineup features two original members, Maurizio Iacono (vocalist) and Jean-François Dagenais (guitarist), along with bassist Stephane Barbe and drummer James Payne.
