Deicide is finalizing the details of their new album

Deicide's last album was released in 2013

American death metal icons Deicide are in the studio putting the finishing touches on their new album, the successor to In The Minds Of Evil, released in 2013.

Drummer Steve Asheim said in an interview with Metal Wani last year that the new album would be "very heavy" and that "the challenge was to try, as always, not to sound repetitive.".

This new work will be the twelfth in Deicide's career.

In 2016, guitarist Jack Owen left the band and was replaced by Mark English from Monstrosity.
Vocalist Glen Benton caused controversy when he said he would commit suicide at age 33, but he did not.

So far, Deicide only has one show scheduled, at the Trois-Rivières Metalfest festival in Canada.
