The bands Deicide and Kataklysm have announced a joint show in São Paulo on May 14, 2023 at Fabrique Club, produced by Powerline.
The gathering of heavy metal bands in São Paulo is part of the Decimate Latin America Tour 2023 , which also includes ten other countries on the continent. Tickets are already on sale at the Clube do Ingresso website.
One of the most solid institutions of classic and brutal death metal from Florida (USA), Deicide is from the genre's first wave, formed in the late 1980s by bassist and vocalist Glen Benton. Besides Benton, the group's current lineup includes drummer Steve Asheim and guitarists Kevin Quirion and Taylor Nordberg.
Kataklysm, hailing from Canada, was formed in 1991 and is known for its fast sound and extreme heaviness. The current lineup features two original members, Maurizio Iacono (vocalist, who was bassist for the first seven years) and Jean-François Dagenais (guitarist), along with bassist Stephane Barbe and drummer James Payne.
