In March, bassist Sergio Vega announced his departure from Deftones , the band he had been playing in since 1999.
Last Thursday, the 14th, the band finally started their tour, which had been postponed twice. During the show, bassist Fred Sablan took Vega's place, but a new guitarist could also be seen on stage, although the band did not introduce him or officially confirm his name.
According to Loudwire , the identity of the new guitarist may be musician Lance Jackman , who has previously worked with bands such as Eightfourseven , Horseneck , and Will Haven . Deftones still needs to confirm the identity of the mysterious guitarist and whether he will be a permanent member of the touring band.
