Deftones have confirmed their upcoming visit to Brazil. In an interview with Rolling Stone Brazil , drummer Abe Cunningham assured: "[The visit] will happen very soon. It will be in 2026."

The musician didn't give further details but emphasized the fans' engagement and requests through social media: “It's funny, because you see in all the comments on Instagram: 'come to Brazil,' which we love. So, it won't be long. It's been a long time [since the last visit]. We can't wait to return.”

The American band, consisting of Chino Moreno (vocals), Abe Cunningham (drums), Stephen Carpenter (guitar), and Frank Delgado (keyboards and samples), hasn't been to Brazil since 2015, when they performed at Rock in Rio and in São Paulo.

Deftones announces new album Private Music

The new album, Private Music, will be released on August 22nd by Reprise and Warner Records .

The singles “My Mind Is A Mountain” and “Milk of the Madonna” are now available.

Previously, vocalist Chino Moreno spoke about the successor to Ohms (2020) in an interview with Billboard .

Deftones continues their North American tour, now in its second leg, which begins on August 22nd at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, and continues in arenas throughout Canada and the United States, including Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 10th, and Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, on September 15th. In this new leg, Deftones will be supported by the bands Phantogram and Idles as opening acts.
