The band is in the studio recording new material
In August of this year, Deftones shared a photo of the band members in the studio with the hashtag #writing, suggesting they were composing new music. Now, the group has confirmed that they will release new material in 2019.
On Instagram, the band used the hashtags #newmusic and #2019, exciting fans. The album will be the successor to Gore , released in 2016, and will mark the band's ninth album.
