Deficiency , the French melodic thrash metal band, has released their new single, “The Nest.” Known for their ability to blend anger, emotion, and resignation, the band delivers another intense piece of metal, divided into three acts that explore the feeling of guilt. The single, focused on the quality of its composition and production, aims to attract fans of saturated sounds.
Currently formed by Laurent Gisonna on guitar and vocals, Gabriel Palmieri on guitar, Vianney Habert on bass, and Ben Jaksch on drums, the French band Deficiency gained notoriety after their performance at Hellfest 2024 and as an opening act for giants like Amon Amarth and Machine Head .
Founded in 2009, the band combines influences from classic thrash metal with modern elements, continuously expanding its presence in the metal scene. With four concept albums released, they have already performed on major European stages. They have also participated in festivals such as Motocultor, Rock Your Brain Fest, and Euskall Assault Fest.
