Def Leppard received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony took place last Thursday, the 9th .

The event featured guest speakers  Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Resnikoff , president and CEO of Universal Music Enterprises Bob Buchmann of Sirius XM hosted the event.

During the ceremony, Jon Bon Jovi said: “I was a fan before I became a friend. These guys were my age and they were from a working-class town called Sheffield in England, which was thousands of miles from a place called Sayreville in New Jersey. However, there was something that attracted me: the melody, the guitars, the young men with the audacity to perform in front of great artists and not hesitate.”

Shortly after, the band posted a thank you message on social media : “Eternally recorded on the streets of Los Angeles! Thank you to @hwdwalkoffame for the honor and to the fans for enjoying it with us all these years. It was a day we will never forget.”

Currently, Def Leppard has announced a major arena tour with 11 shows in the summer of 2026. These will be the band's first solo shows since their sold-out tour in 2023 alongside Mötley Crüe.
