Deep Purple has announced the release of their next album, titled =1 .

The record will be released to fans on July 19th via earMUSIC, marking their first release since the covers album Turning To Crime (2021) and their most recent album of original material, since Whoosh ! was released in 2020.

It also marks the return of the partnership between the band and legendary producer Bob Ezrin , with a first single scheduled for April 30th.

According to a press release, the title =1 ( via NME ): “symbolizes the idea that, in an increasingly complex world, everything eventually simplifies until it becomes a single, unified essence. Everything equals one.”
